The overexposure of Kenny G during the last 80's made me hate sax. But it certainly gives a special atmosphere, for example in DSOTM. On the other hand, flute is the core of my preferred band, Tull, in consecuence I love it.

TRUE!!...the flute is also formidably used in the two first albums...ear the magic epic piece called megaherz on their first!
Organisation (Schneider & Hutter original band) also contains a few flute parts to sustain the jam sessions.
