I started a NFL Fantasy Playoff Challenge if anyone is interested... if the link doesn't work I can email invites. It is a week by week pick thing where players on winning teams get a multiplier each week their team progresses up to x4 in the Superbowl.

Well Luck's luck finally ran out and so has my season. Congrats to Melody Marauders for a well-deserved win.

There's some consolation; I'm leading in my other league with Romo at QB so there's that at least...

Good luck to everyone remaining. As football comes to an end my presence on the forum will wane as well. My wife is due next month and it is our first child so I am predicting limited down time for myself. I will gladly commission the league for next year but would gladly hand it over to anyone(s) who would be willing. The final four teams deserve their spots. Some say fantasy is a toss up, and while I agree luck can plays a big part, the final four teams have Brees, Manning(good one), Luck and Brady. That is good drafting, not luck.

I kinda wished I played this week, but I had a bye. I would've scored at least 125 points, and probably closer to 140. Oh well.

You're next JJLehto. You're playing me, so this game does matter. Tongue

Just like the real Giants...I am having an epic game and it's totally meaningless LOL
It just has been inconsistency, but when all the players click like they expect: ho-ly sh*t
Rodgers and Julio alone have me 66 points

Guess this is the danger of the WR heavy theory I adhere too, so boom and bust, but damn it...with 2 solid backs (or even just one good one) I still say it can work. Nights like this give me faith!

They sure made the NFC South race may more interesting.

Un fortunately, the winner will probably host Dallas in the wild card round and beat them.

Actually, part of me feels like Dallas will be the team on the out looking in. Though I don't fully trust mark Sanchez I feel like theres enough talent there to compensate vs average to decent teams.

Just like the real Giants...I started hot, hit a dreadful mid season skid, and mounted a win streak near the end, but was too little too late (well except for recent years when the Giants just suck all year long LOL)
Ah well, not toooo bad considering I missed the draft.

I'm ready for next year! Good luck to yall in the playoffs

Yeah, I am against a keeper league myself. I do like the idea of a fresh start every year and having to build a whole new team. Just seems the way to be.

And yeah, some bad luck, and simply facing some ungodly opponents, but really missing the draft was my killer.
Next year I'll pay much better attention!

I had rotten luck this year.  My players were either getting injured or injuring other people.  Looks like the Mrs. will be in the playoffs.

I was in a league where you kept only one player, and it couldn't be from the 1st or 2nd round. The pick you kept would cost the same round draft choice as it did for you the previous year. Once you kept a player, you couldn't keep him again the next year.

IMHO keeper leagues take something away from the idea of starting anew every autumn.  What about franchise tagging?  You can keep one player, in exchange you give up a draft pick one round higher than what you drafted that player (if they were your first pick you still give up a #1 rounder).
