Also these form is very relevant, specialy when your hearing a disc for the first time.
I was refering to extreme ( if could be call so) ways of enjoying some prog: avant garde jazz like zappa and Space rock.
Of course mostly i hear it sited or laid with eyes closed, in a introspective manner.
But prog expresionism if could be could be called that Clown Tongue is also possible and interesting ( and most important: great fun!).

I listen to prog the way i listen to classical music-i just sit there and soak the music in-i devote my full attention to the music, and never try to combine any other activity, mental or physical, with the music-it is total devotion! If i am a bit tired for some reason, i will close m eyes, but i never drift off to sleep

With a good bottle of wine and green cigars i can free-dance to most weird music like prog and zappa. Doing one thing is tripping the other thing funny and more dificult. You can always try another music why not?.

Dancing (better believe it!) and lots of air fluting on one leg (even when unnecessary).

Well I normally relax when listening to Tool and bang my head violently when listening to Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. Wait..

But seriously, I normally just air drum, if that's not too mentally insane.

I prefer singing to playing imaginary instruments, but sometimes I do it, too. It's really relaxing when I can sing all the time (for example when I'm home alone and time isn't close to midnight, you know, I live in minimalistic flat) and nobody's laughing at me. But what is really fun - when my boyfriend starts with twitching his head. It isn't so bad at all, but the problem is that the music is so silent, so low and restful. :-)

By the way, I'm still trying to play/make prog music with my very realistic guitars. I've found how to play some Pink Floyd's songs :-)

Your Ma(d)jesty,awful,mean girl.

I wanna hold Red Special at last once in my life ...
I love my prog boy.
