let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

Of course Kraftwerk should be included (perhaps not their entire catalogue)

Sorry, I didn't know that last year I wasn't too familiar with Kraftwerk, though. M@x can indeed change his mind |

No. I've got the complete run of Kraftwerk albums, and I believe that they have a place in any self respecting music collection. I'd say the same for the Beatles, Beach Boys, Byrds, Dylan, Leonard Cohen, The Who and The Smiths (to name but several) - brilliant, innovative artists one and all, but none of them prog. There's loads of other places on the web devoted to them, why clutter up the archive?

I just want the site to be COMPLETE I guess... or I just want to review their albums You say they are not really rock, but their music is based on rock music, I think. And other bands aren't REALLY rock music either (Mahavishnu, some Zappa, Magma) |

Not in my opinion, and I love the band. There's almost no 'rock' in Kraftwerk (though plenty of 'progressive'), and I'm almost positive the band wouldn't appreciate the association. What's with the burning urge to add to the site, anyway? Has everyone already absorbed all the bands listed here? Wow, I must be pretty far behind the rest of you, huh? |

There's no point in including just a few albums and leaving the rest out.
Many bands have their nonproggy/poppy/crappy albums here as well (Genesis - Invisible Touch, anyone?). |
