Thanks Snow Dog, Syzygy, Trickstar F, Easy Livin.
I wish there would be a good way to explain in this board.
By the way, ''hajimemash*te'' is impossible on it ??!!
Shock shock shock for Japanese new comer.

As Snow Dog says, it's the over enthusiastic profanity checker. I guess there are ways around it, others seem to find them easily enough when they want to use the targeted words.

Wasn't there a problem once, when you couldn't spell the name of KC's record "Night-watch" because of the "t**t" word in it? The same thing with "sophomore" because of the "homo" in the middle, but I think it's been fixed by now.
And there was once a problem with spelling words "sulk", "skulk", etc., as "ulk" was always changed to "terminated".

It also makes it difficult for us to give a formal welcome to new Japanese members - just try the entering word 'hajimemash*te'.

I'm afraid you will have to live with the problem. The rules are for a purpose. That purpose is to not show profanity. (Even though you know what the word is trying to say, many people don't like to actually read it)
