I don't play D&D, but I am most assuredly a dork.

D&D is just stupid.
Elder Scrolls is where it's at.

Someone who has odd interests, and is often silly at times. A dork is also someone who can be themselves and not care what anyone thinks.
You are such a dork. | I guess I'm closer to a "geek", which is a nerd that doesn't necessarily need to be bookish or technologically apt. But if you're mixing the two definitions together, I'll just choose "yes".
To recap:
a nerd entails a geek a geek does not entail a nerd a dork does not entail a geek or a nerd, but there is a high correlation between the three.
|
I've never really understood what the three terms mean, but if I go with those definitions, then I'm definitely not a nerd, as I don't really play too many computer games, and I'm not too good with technology. As for dork, I don't know, because I'm rarely silly, I'm usually very down-to-earth, but I do have odd interests (prog, jazz, yo-yos, cryptozoology). I do very well at school, but I wouldn't say I'm extremely smart, and I don't read a whole lot, so I don't really know what you'd call me, but I figured I'm close enough to vote yes.

I'm unclear as to the difference between nerdy and dorky. Suffice it to say that I have never lost a game of Trivial Pursuit or Scrabble.

Napoleon Dynamite is a dork, a person with socially inadequate tendencies.
D&D isn't dorky but nerdy. And great.

Dungeons and Dragons isn't a computer game actually. It's a roleplaying game you play with friends in a basement on paper with dices, maps and all.
It sounds nerdy but it's pretty cool.
I actually have a scheduled game for tonight. It's the first time I'm playing in years.

Which Version do you play? I just started so I'm a 3.5 edition-er. Yeah, for three years on a weekly basis I've been playing. No, I'm not a dork. I only like unpopular intellegent music, Play Dungeons and Dragons, Watch Star Trek, have read Lord of the Rings, Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy, The Eye of the World series, and I went to school dressed as a rendition of Peter Gabriel's watcher of the Skies outfit... yeah I'm cool. (And somehow... somehow I end up being friends with all the Hawthorne Heights/My Chemical Romance/Panic! At the Dicso listeners... go figure. )

Debby,
First D&D is a role game either played on on a member-drawned board (or not) with the members making their own set of rules. The concept in itself was fascinating, but it quickly became nerdy, geeky ........ and dorky because those members would shy away in the fantasies and some forget about the outside world.
Eventually twenty years after it might have become a videogame
