I'm not sure, but I think I might be just a little dorky (the first definition, not the penis one). Where's the option "I find this question disturbing and refuse to answer it"? Anyway, I voted Yes.

You're a dork 'cause you quoted the dictionary:
1 : a reference source in print or electronic form containing words usually alphabetically arranged along with information about their forms, pronunciations, functions, etymologies, meanings, and syntactical and idiomatic uses
2 : a reference book listing alphabetically terms or names important to a particular subject or activity along with discussion of their meanings and applications
3 : a reference book giving for words of one language equivalents in another
4 : a computerized list (as of items of data or words) used for reference (as for information retrieval or word processing)

Dork
javascript:void%280%29"> 598 up, 100 down javascript:void%280%29">

Someone who has odd interests, and is often silly at times. A dork is also someone who can be themselves and not care what anyone thinks.

You are such a dork.

I guess I'm closer to a "geek", which is a nerd that doesn't necessarily need to be bookish or technologically apt. But if you're mixing the two definitions together, I'll just choose "yes".

To recap:

a nerd entails a geek
a geek does not entail a nerd
a dork does not entail a geek or a nerd, but there is a high correlation between the three.

The link you gave me regarding 10 CC:

Two's company, four's a crowd

Graham Gouldman and Eric Stewart tell Geoff Brown how 10cc are faring now as a duo

Dorking is a respectable suburban town nestling in the Surrey countryside. Its richer inhabitants commute to London five days a week; those who stay out of the metropolis are generally employed in industries and trades whose sole purpose is servicing the homes of the rich while they're in the big city.

LOL

Debby,

First D&D is a role game either played on on a member-drawned board (or not) with the members making their own set of rules. The concept in itself was fascinating, but it quickly became nerdy, geeky ........ and dorky because those members would shy away in the fantasies and some forget about the outside world.

Eventually twenty years after it might have become a videogame

Which Version do you play? I just started so I'm a 3.5 edition-er.

Yeah, for three years on a weekly basis I've been playing. No, I'm not a dork. I only like unpopular intellegent music, Play Dungeons and Dragons, Watch Star Trek, have read Lord of the Rings, Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy, The Eye of the World series, and I went to school dressed as a rendition of Peter Gabriel's watcher of the Skies outfit... yeah I'm cool. (And somehow... somehow I end up being friends with all the Hawthorne Heights/My Chemical Romance/Panic! At the Dicso  listeners... go figure.Confused)

I've never really understood what the three terms mean, but if I go with those definitions, then I'm definitely not a nerd, as I don't really play too many computer games, and I'm not too good with technology.  As for dork, I don't know, because I'm rarely silly, I'm usually very down-to-earth, but I do have odd interests (prog, jazz, yo-yos, cryptozoology).  I do very well at school, but I wouldn't say I'm extremely smart, and I don't read a whole lot, so I don't really know what you'd call me, but I figured I'm close enough to vote yes.
