I should have added Oiapok - Oisolun (2023). It's now in the list beside Morlock as an or option (and I added attack to the playlist from it). Feel free to vote for it as well if you already voted for three.

As is common with me in long lists, feel free to vote with very limited familiarity. I'm most interested to read what you like or are interested in, impressions on any of the playlist music, or what you don't like. And feel free to mention ones not on the list. Or you could post those in THIS TOPIC.

Thanks, John. Which Zopp and Anna von H albums specifically as those are both "or" options? I'm guessing Zopp's Zopp and All Thoughts Fly.

By the way, I had issues with the code injection in my text until I went to Member Control Panel, then Forum Preferences, then clicked on the "No" option for Enable the WYSIWYG post editor before updating the profile. I see it's a common issue here now.

^^ Dominion dominates one might say.

I made a youtube playlist, as I commonly like to do, with a track from each of these releases (minus the Morlock, because it's not on youtube, so adding a track from it on bandcamp). Some might like tpo check out or question my choice of tracks. Heck, I question them. :)

Quite abit of that I covered in an earlier topic that was a gneral music discussion about tracks from the 2020s. In that I also had music such as Weyes Blood, Beach House, Bruno Pernadas, Lingua Ignota, Vanishing Twin, Melody's Echo Chamber, Niechęć etc.

Here's my playlist from that topic: CLICK

This is such a great time for diverse music, I feel. Hope some others might share their lists. And maybe get some more topics from this time that cover people's faves.

^ Mea culpa, I should have been clearer. I meant vote for no more than one album by act and when voting, vote for one "or" the other. It's not that important, of course.

^ My vote was for Zopp's two albums together, just as they're displayed in the poll, although Zopp's Dominion album is my favourite album in the entire dominion of Canterbury Scene music. Thumbs Up

A good reason to vote for it, especially if you like it.

Amazingly, I voted for a poll winner for a change when it's more often the case that my 2-star albums go on to win a poll. Tongue

Don't speak too soon, currently Black Midi is equal (5 votes each) with Zopp.Smile

But I wonder how mnay votes are for Zopp's Zopp, how many are for Zopp's Dominion, how many are for black midi's Cavlacade and how mnay are for Helffire? To know which specific albums are being voted for because in those cases it's an "OR" proposition.

As for King Gizz, I did not really like the band until quite recently when I started to really explore it more and found muc that had appeal over various albums and after that more music opened up and I grew to like those one that initially held some appeal more. It is such an eclectic band where different albums are of different styles, but much of the jamminess had not appealed to me. No syaing others should like it, but while Butterfly 3000 is one of the albums that I have seen as lowest rated from Gizz, I like it for it's Indietronica/ synthpop, Neo-Psych pop vibes.

I love this:

By the way, the other one I most considred voting for at the time was Squid's Bright Green Field.

Oh lovely to see so many positive responses, and wow, am pleased, Kees, that you know so much and listed those. Thanks. And Cristi, but how you come at some time to say which acts you do like and any albums of interest. I'm interested in the votes and more interested in more than just the votes. Thanks to all for the comments. :)

Surprising myself that I have heard 16 albums by 12 different acts from this list:
Björk - Fossora
Black Country, New Road - For the First Time and Ants From Up There
black midi - Cavalcade and Hellfire
Ciśnienie (with Lód 9) - Brass Album
Current 93 - If a City Is Set Upon a Hill
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - G_d's Pee AT STATE'S END!
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - K.G. and L.W.
Needlepoint - Walking Up That Valley
PoiL / Ueda - PoiL / Ueda
Swans - The Beggar
Anna von Hausswolff - All Thoughts Fly and Live at Montreux Jazz Festival
Zopp - Zopp

My three favourites of these are Ciśnienie, Swans and Anna von Hausswolff.
