^^When that is seen together with the results of my another top list, Top 50 of the 2010's as rated on RYM and PA ,
which are

USA 15 bands in all, UK 9, S and N 7, Aust 4, CAN and F 2, PL, NL, D, Rus, HUN, FIN, B, Tun and J 1 each

it seems to show that USA has been the most prolific Prog nation in the last two decades 
- that is though of course when using my Prog definition.

If looking at the national characteristics for the 00's, which were most prolific next after the 70's, and for the whole 
160 list, the statistics say:
USA 11 bands in all, UK and N 4, S 3, CAN 2, PL, NL, Rom, Isr, J and D 1 each

When then compared to the 70's, USA seems to have become very much the most prolific nation instead of UK, 
which though together with Norway and partly Sweden still was one of the most prolific.

Lots of great records in this second list: Wobbler, QVL, Maxophone, Neal Morse, Discipline, Chris Squire, UK, Gryphon, etc.

Given the "one per artist" criteria, it just goes to show how many great Prog bands are out there for people to explore.

But I want to tell so much that my favoured release concerning him is by Sunday Times, 10 tracs Performed Live at the Royal Albert Hall , and the video made of it is really enjoyable as well.

I've never had a poster of Jimi Hendrix on my wall, but I did once have a HUGE poster of Olivia Newton John on my bedroom wall. Smile

My earlier list, top 100, has been quite well received, and being first part of a 160 list, 
here's the second part. It includes a bit of statistics for the whole list, concerning 
the national origin of all the albums and the decades for their releases. 
I hope you'll enjoy these more albums and bands to put focus on, or maybe get a bit suprised.
