I've enjoyed the outtakes so far. Especially the Over The Hills and Song Remains instrumentals. There are many others unofficially available. I really like hearing Zeppelin as an instrumental band. Even with The Voice they were always that, so hearing the detail in these early versions just emphasized what they put into the pieces.
Fiscal Gravity has been announced.
I am very curious as to what he intends fro Presence - there really is no extra material there so alternate takes is my idle speculation.
In through The Out Door should get the full version of All My Love. I wondered how it would be with the three other tracks turning up on Coda - not much else unless Fire gets an inclusion.
Then the one I am anxiously awaiting. A full 2 CD set for Coda. The stuff I want on that one... will he take requests?
A live special covering eras not touched yet would be good to round things off (Led Zeppelin in Europe (especially the 73 era before No Quarter was in the set). The I think that will be that - if we get that far.
Except of course the hi res versions getting a physical release. I do think it's not good to have hi res downloads available but not the actual DVD-Audios or Blu Ray discs for the Blu Ray users.

I know I've already expressed my skepticism on the Zepp remasters, but what can they do with Physical Graffiti? That album is near perfection. EDIT: BTW, do you think it will be released in time for the 40th anniversary?

Yes LZIII vinyl has the wheel...I spin it all the time ...Like Wheel of Fortune!
Fisical Grafiti will be a big buy/sell....we are all waiting for that one. I think I will get the Super Deluxe vinyl issue since I probably will want the book. I got the Super Deluxe on LZI and it's pretty sweet.
As far as alternate versions, my favorite is the alternate version of Stairway To Heaven on Zoso, that mix is really nice, I actually play that one more than the original album mix.

I know, right? I cried many tears over this. That and the refusal to add "Hey Hey What Can I Do" to the track list.

I guess all their 'unused' tracks were added to Physical Graffiti to make it a double album and any remaining leftovers were put on Coda.
Personally I love the alternate versions, things sound familiar but different. For me it's a bit like listening to live versions of tracks or bootlegs, sure the 'official' version usually sounds better but rough versions and live versions sometimes have interesting differences. I think it's good with these latest LZ remasters that they put the bonus tracks on a separate CD instead of tacking them on to the end of the album, which sometimes messes up the 'flow' of the album.

Ah, they've reinstated the "windows" thing on the PG package. Yay! I used to have fun playing with that on the LP. Ditto for the "wheel" thing on LZ III - did they reinstate that for the new Led Zep III package?
I'm glad the 2 disc sets are selling for the price of a single, because I have not had any use for the bonus discs yet. I've never gotten excited about alternate versions of songs already on the album (different mixes, rehearsal run-throughs, etc). It's unfortunate that Zep doesn't have a lot of unused songs, but that's just the way it is.

Some supposedly 'leaked' information from Amazon France was posted on the Led Zeppelin forum.
Here is a rumored track list for the upcoming Physical Graffiti remaster's bonus disc:
1. Brandy & Coke (Trampled Under Foot - Initial Rough Mix) 2. Sick Again (Early Version) 3. In My Time Of Dying (Initial Rough Mix) 4. Houses Of The Holy (Rough Mix With Overdubs) 5. Everybody Makes It Through (In The Light Early Version/In Transit) 6. Boogie With Stu (Sunset Sound Mix) 7. Driving Through Kashmir (Kashmir Rough Orchestra Mix)
And here's an image of the packaging:

I'm really, really, really enjoying the 'companion discs' of these Led Zeppelin Deluxe Edition reissues. Great to hear these studio outtakes and alternate versions. Honestly surprised that some people don't like them.

I've got the HOOH special edition, the sound is pretty good. I'm not so sure about the extras though, who wants versions of Led Zep songs without Plant's vocals, or Moby Dick without the drum solo?

If I were just discovering Zep, I think I might go for the reissues, but my vinyl copies of the albums are where I turn. I know every hiss, pop, crackle and skip - they've become parts of the songs themselves. Improved sound ain't nothin' over the memory of those sounds.....nothing can improve on memory.

^The two disc 'Deluxe' editions . I can't say that the bonus discs are essential but there are some good alternate versions and excellent backing tracks, like the Battle Of Evermore, which is stunning even without the vocals.
