The Nash the Slash link is a bit more tenuous a link, but I'll go with it anyway.....
 
Ben Mink, who replaced Nash the Slash played violin on the Rush track "Losing It" from the Signals album...

John Weinzierl (former Amon Duul II guitarist) made several albums during the 80's with Dave Anderson (former Hawkwind bassist). They were known as Amon Duul UK or Amon Duul III...

Limahl, once a vocalist for Kajagoogoo, later performed vocals for the song "Neverending Story", produced by Keith Forsey (he began his career as a drummer in the early ‘70s, contributing his skills as a percussionist to Krautrock artists like Roy Fleming and Amon Duul II) and Giorgio Moroder.
