The Nash the Slash link is a bit more tenuous a link, but I'll go with it anyway.....
Ben Mink, who replaced Nash the Slash played violin on the Rush track "Losing It" from the Signals album...

Limahl, once a vocalist for Kajagoogoo, later performed vocals for the song "Neverending Story", produced by Keith Forsey (he began his career as a drummer in the early ‘70s, contributing
his skills as a percussionist to Krautrock artists like Roy Fleming and Amon Duul II) and Giorgio Moroder.
