This is easy for me because Zappa does little for me. As talented as he was, I still believe he was over-rated. I recall most people I knew really liking his music as being the type who needed to be non-conformists.

Why Dweezil? Guess you haven't seen Zappa Plays Zappa, or maybe you have? Personally I like it. Can't speak to Gail though. Personally I'd add Banks and Rutherford to the sacrificial pyre.

Couldn't we just sacrifice Phil Collins?

Damn. Looks like I'll need to sacrifice a lot of things to bring Drake back in his entirety.

I'd sacrifice that Genesis tour for the other half of Nick Drake.

Zappa put out how many albums in his lifetime? I don't even want to know... if you brought him back he'd be like, "Let me sleep!"

In the words of Monty Python, "What a stupid concept". First off, the sacrifice of all DT members would require the most exacting Satanic rituals replete with silly costumes, druidic time tables, and pagan rituals breaking any number of international laws. Secondly, the cost of rounding the DT band members up and bringing them all to a suitable sacrificial site would be daunting to say the least. Finally, as anyone knows from watching any number of B horror movies, the resurected Zappa would be nothing more than a hollow shell of the original, probably hell bent on the ultimate spiritual destruction of those responsible for dragging him back from his final rest. Wake up and repent sinner. This entire thread is nothing short of blasphemous.

Too ridiculous for words. And if I should have the power to revive one musician, I would choose for Nick Drake, who lived half as long as Frank Zappa. No sacrificing.

Sheez, a perfectly acceptable excuse for sacrificing DT finally comes up, and it has to be ruined by posts like this one
