Speaking of Wilson anyone into his "cover versions" the 4th is by far my fave, Cover version IV: the guitar lesson, is sick and haunting, i didnt knew what exactly was the song about until i find out the painting ...

I'm really enjoying Bass Communion, maybe I like ambient and didn't notice it. |
^ I gotta check that out soon! Right now, I'm listening to Sepulcros de Miel by the Omar Rodriguez Lopez Quartet. Quite good spacey-rock/jazz/funk.

Has anybody noticed that Toby Driver (Kayo Dot/Maudlin of the Well) and Chino Moreno (Deftones) have very similar vocal styles?

Lyrically, The Final Cut is almost certainly the strongest PF album.

Eh, I'm not overly interested in PF past Dark Side of the Moon. I have The Division Bell, and let me tell you, to me that album is incredibly . I'll stick with early era stuff such as AHM and Meddle.

Waters vocals on TFC are one of it's strongest points, I think.

i liked all hose songs too, but as an album, i feel its weak specially the second half. (although ... Sorrow!)

yeah but animals he sings like 30% of the time and he actually sings, instead of the "spoken word" like in TFC, face it, he's not really signing, he's telling a story with a bit of tempo and occasional screams.
TFC has been the only floyd album i can stand :S

Hey, I kinda like a lot of Momentary Lapse....One Slip? On the Turning Away? And say what you will, but Learning to Fly ain't a bad song.

thumbs down for both of them although MLoR have Sorrow in it, on the bad side, it sounds like 80's pop. on the good side, it doesnt have Water's singing
i'd stick with Meddle and Animals

UndercoverBoy, is that (your avatar) Peter Hammill in some kind of fantasy movie? |
It's Paul from Dune! He looks a bit Peter Hammillian though.
