IMPORTANT - Unreviewed Albums

   I know this may sound like bitching, but who care.

If you gave the first review a spot with the "specialists" im sure you would motivate more first reviews.
As long as the first review are moved to a side, and not shown in full length, people will still prefer to review an album, that more people are checking out, to get a top spot with the artist at least for a while.

Everyone want the 5 sec. of fame, no matter if you like it or not.

"We`ve got to put caps on reviews for albums such as Close to The Edge, Dark Side of The Moon and ITCOTCK if we`re going to overcome this problem. Just write something like Sorry we have too many reviews for this record."
Some people only got the more known albums, if you do that, they cant review at all. 
Not that i disaggree, i try to review mainly less known albums, but where do you cut the line.

	I mean I wrote the bio for Vial Information and reviewed the first one " Vital Information " To get the ball rolling I have all these albums but until someone else reviews a Vital information album I won`t write one. I was thinking of Writing A Coryell review this week because I finally have a bit of time .I think it`s kind of ludicrous for the guy who wrote the bio to review every bloody album and then that`s it. You have one guys opinion. I had the same problem with Octobre until Sean Trane started writing some reviews.We`ve got to put caps on reviews for albums such as Close to The Edge, Dark Side of The Moon and ITCOTCK if we`re going to overcome this problem. If you owned a second hand record store are you going to buy a Crime Of The Century record by Supertramp everytime A guy comes in witha load of albims to sell?

	Blind Illusion just reviewed. I believe 10 % of all my reviews are first reviews of those albums. Yes, I also think I am a sad man without a life.

	Sad thing that first REVIEW doesn't count, when some ratings without review are already there. I can review a lot of Czech prog rock albums, because my dad used to have big stack of LP's. For about 20 bands here: http://www.progarchives.com/Bands-country.asp?country=55 and about 100 albums, just 20 of them are reviewed. A lot of them rated though, so if I'll review them, they're theoretically unreviewed, because my words will be first review, but technically, first review will go to user who rated the album first, as soon as he'll write 100 words, which he mostly won't do. For example Progres 2, they have 6 normal albums, 4/6 of them are rated, but no review written. So I can get first review credit just for 2/6. I'll be first, but at the same time I will not be. :- /

	Well as no one else ( OK there are a few interested people but not many) seems to be very interested in the Tech/ extreme genre I review many unreviewed albums in that catagory. It´s by chance though. It´s not something I seek out on purpose. I hope to see more reviews in that catagory by other members too.

	I remember seeing Under Age by Camel the other day at a record shop. I thought it was some Camel album nobody wants to buy so I didn't buy it either. I probably will go again and buy it :)
