^ the support is all very welcome. Unlike the original comment poster, I figured sublime just spoke off the cuff so no worries there.
Yes, another woman! We do like prog! We do enjoy Yes, Caravan and Genesis on romantic evenings! (Jethro Tull, not so much). I'm working on Snow Goose but not much success getting into it so far. Edited by emigre80 - April 15 2015 at 21:02 |

Emigre80! Wow! Hello! You are a girl too, I am so happy to know this! Yep I agree all you said and thank you for that, sublime220 spoke out of context and thanks to you he realized how wrong he was in saying that. That's sweet of him to apologize tho'. Group hug P.S. The only albums I know and enjoy from Camel is Mirage and Snow Goose. I prefer many other artists btw.

OK, I want to give my sincerest apologies for the comment I made. I obviously was not thinking when I wrote that. You are most definitely right, along with Elf and Pastmaster. Sorry for that.

Surely it's not "progressive" in a general sense

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Agreed, neither racism or sexism is funny in any way.

You are certainly not wrong, Terri. The "b*tches" comment was idiotic and not at all humorous (although I'm not even sure if that is what the poster was attempting). You don't need to "lighten up" either.

^ Had I made a racist joke on this site, I would have been lambasted for it. And quite rightly so, I should add. But I was 99% certain that objecting to a sexist comment would be met by an admonition to "Lighten up."
There are times when I'd really prefer to be wrong. This was one of them.

Misogynistic humor like this is probably why some women avoid prog and progheads. Just for the record, we don't much like being collectively referred to as "bitches," even as a joke.

Michael678 for the FAB activity you mentioned above, there are so many euphoric brilliant tracks just to name a few here I suggest:
I did not name any David Bowie's songs however he has many and is my top pick. hugs Sonia

Caravan. While I love GG, it would be the most awkward one to play with all the harmonizations.
