You are certainly not wrong, Terri. The "b*tches" comment was idiotic and not at all humorous (although I'm not even sure if that is what the poster was attempting). You don't need to "lighten up" either.

Agreed, neither racism or sexism is funny in any way.

Thanks, Elf and Pastmaster.  I certainly appreciate your comments.

Surely it's not "progressive" in a general sense
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Misogynistic humor like this is probably why some women avoid prog and progheads.  Just for the record, we don't much like being collectively referred to as "bitches," even as a joke.
So this exists more in prog? Most people here I'd say are very calm about this sort of stuff. Lighten up. If someone actually meant it, then it's ok to feel a little angered, but come on...

Michael678 for the FAB activity you mentioned above, there are so many euphoric brilliant tracks just to name a few here I suggest:
  1. Focus Eruption
  2. Yes - Roundabout
  3. Budgie - Parents
  4. Uriah Heep - Salisbury
  5. Tom Waits - Hold On
  6. POS - Disco Queen
  7. POS - Undertow
  8. POS - ! (Foreward)
  9. POS - Where it hurts
  10. POS - USED
  11. Ayreon - Age of Shadows
  12. KING CRIMSON - Starless
  13. King Crimson - Matte Kudasai
  14. Pink Floyd - Fearless
  15. Tommorow Never Knows -The Beatles
  16. Paul McCartney - Little Willow
  17. ROGER WATERS - Sexual Revolution
  18. Pink Floyd - "Us And Them"
  19. Pink Floyd Cymbaline
  20. Roger Waters - The Tide is Turning
  21. Pink Floyd The Final Cut

I did not name any David Bowie's songs however he has many and is my top pick. ApproveSmile hugs Hug

Genesis, A Trick of the Tail.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

Caravan. While I love GG, it would be the most awkward one to play with all the harmonizations.
