The admins need to coordinate a little better, this was moved from Prog to General Discussions and then from there to General Music Discussions, which still doesn't make any sense and left another one of the unbearably annoying and broken moved thread markers lurking in General Discussions for an indefinite period of time. Damn it harmonium, why did you have to quote it! Now this page is NSFW too!

Nice painting. There are tons of similar sado-erotic photographs from the beginning of the 20th century, who would have thought people from the age of the tail coat & silk hat were having such "dirty" things in mind? You can find albums dedicated to that stuff in every bookshop. If you want something stronger, google "Chapman brothers sculpture". Those were outrageous 20 years ago... Now they are passé |

I bought a poster of the movie Aguirre, Des Zorn Gottes just for the part where it says: "Musik: Popol Vuh". And, of course, because that movie is completely awesome |

I don't understand why it was moved. It's supposed to be random comments/observations on prog music, not any music.

Wilson, Steven a.k.a. porcupine man
i listened to it once and then put it away ... you know what? i'm gonna give it another try tonight just because you help me find this thread Speaking of the porcupine man, anyone else feels that PT sounds better in live albums? i like studios, but XFM specials and "arriving somewhere..." are my faves CDs of them all, and that doesnt happens me with other bands. just saying...

Yeah I was overreacting, I just don't like having to look over my shoulder when I open a thread. |

I agree they are overeacting. I like the art. But who is Wilson?

Well then...
Anyone have any odd band discovery stories? This is the best I got: Was going to take the SAT's. So sat down at a desk. Girl walks in wearing an Opeth shirt. No idea what it was at the time, but the logo looked really cool. It was the O with the the butterflies in it and all. I assumed it was a band...so I Wiki'd it when I got home and saw prog-metal so I tried it. One of my favorite bands now! |

haha, arent you overacting? its just an artistic painting from Balthus, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balthus, its from 1934!! and its not the coverm just the original artist "Momus" took it as inspiration, and then Wilson covered it. does that makes wilson a perv?
