Have a feeling that Peyton's going to struggle wherever he ends up.  He's coming off a major neck injury and isn't likely to have the same o-line he had most of his career.  There's also a chance he might have to play outside (parish the thought of playing football outdoors).  Of course, all that being said: He'll still be a big improvement for about half the teams in the league.

Oh please the half time show was god awful, and yes that is compared to the generally god awful SB shows!

I'm hoping Peyton doesn't go to the Redskins, that would piss me offLOL and it's actually not a bad place for him.
I really think the Phins and Sehawks are great choices. Seattle has a good defense, great run game, actually set up perfectly for Peyton! The Dolphins also have some pieces in place and have Brandon Marshall. Oh and neither have any loyalty at QB!

Like some people say the Jets but they wont give up on Sanchez yet, they poured in to much. But Tavaris Jackson? Chad Henne/Matt Moore? To chance getting a healthy Peyton I'd give those guys up in a heartbeat!

I do hope he can come back. Would be such a shame to see it end like this.

What really stuck out to me was the difference in facial expression between the two QBs.  Manning was calm, confident, and upbeat looking every time I saw him....Brady looked down, worried, not confident.  Even when they were ahead.

^ Well getting off topic now.......but 9-7 in the NFC Worst will not get the Hawks anywhere. We have to contend with the 49'ers now who will probably go in the neighborhood of 11-5....which should include a sweep of the NFCW teams.

Awesome good job Giants. They are really awesome.
Now hopefully my Seahawks can at least get to 9-7 next season and actually have a good quarterback. Maybe we could even pick up Peyton!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

The halftime show was good.......Madonna still has it. I said earlier had some of those other krapt artists not showed up it probably would have been better.
You have to admit, by that point in the game we needed something to watch, the game was horridly bad and boring.

It was really a Week 3, maybe Week 5 game with an extended halftime............and a lot more people watching. LOL

Only thing makes me feel better is that the Giants won.

I'd put him in a similar class to Bill Parcells, at this point, and plenty of people think Parcells is a shoe in for eventual induction (many, not me, were wondering why he got skipped this year).

I have got to give my respect to the Giants. They always find a way to win the big games, make the big plays. The Patriots missed some important plays by dropping the ball and Brady was off target on some occasions. It will be interesting to see how the Giants perform next year, and if they can carry that spirit over for a long time...

It was tense, I was feeling alright since well..hail mary's are never a success and I saw a lot of white jerseys flocking, but yeah went down to the very last second. Very tense!

Just what else to say? Awesome SB run again, and it came down to the Giants defense rising up in the 4th quarter, and Eli's masterful display. The G men just don't give up, really fought this season.

I will give kudos to Tom Brady. Honestly, the Pats had no business being in the SB but he dragged them there! Eli had a Peyton caliber performance in regards to how much he did with so little, but same to Brady. I give him flak for the offense he runs but it's not like he really has explosive weapons and he does a damn good job evading pressure. He carried the team more so than ever. Noble performance but the guy needs some help! Just like the Colts, one man can not get you all the way to the finish line.

GGGGGGGGGMEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn. Can't believe it. Yet again, another heart stopper there at the end. Once the giants wasted that time out and still had to punt I was worried a fair bit. But damn....that Eli. What a beast.

And apparently Bradshaw wanted to stop but he had too much momentum to not go into the endzone. I again had heart attacks with that last hail mary...thought Gronk got it there for a moment at the end.

But hell...another superbowl victory to the G-Men. Congrats to the team, the elite eli (who really put the seaon on his shoulders) and esp to Coughlin. Time to drink in celebration.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

That half time show WAS appalling. I was expecting it to be terrible and still I was shocked!
What a sad, sad painful display that was.

I do love how it also degenerated into "im so awesome" by the end. She's a 50+ year old pop singer, but had some current rapper thing going on...with the whole show literally revolving around her. Giant gold M's, and back up singers throwing out "Madonna" in the chorus. Why didn't she bust out "this is why I'm hot"?

Also deep stonie is fail at being deep

It was an epic battle between the New York Red Wings and the Florida Seabass. There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth. In the end, only the merchants and hotel managers of Indianapolis stood over the city's wreckage with heads held high. It will probably take days to wash away all of Madonna's dignity from the sides of nearby skyscrapers.

Some final notes about the Giants:
-First team to reach the SB despite being outscored
-First 9-7 team to win the SB

This is thanks largely to Eli who besides the definition of clutch was the #1 QB in the NFL under pressure:
http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/01/31/pressure-and-the-2011-quarterbacks/
Good thing too, since those same guys gave every NYG lineman a negative grade for pass blocking, their 2 tackles being the worst blockers!

I know it's the fanboy in me but in my book Eli is the MVP of the 2011 seasonLOL Would not have even made the playoffs without him, (therefor no chance of a SB run) and he worked his magic with a crap o line, poor defense, and no run game. ELITE! Big smile

Well of course he should have! That's what I said (well OK I implied it sorry for being not to forthright) but yeah I have NO clue what that was. He obviously wanted to take the knee but didn't/couldn't? We need to hear what he was thinking.
Besides the Giants trust their defense. Even with the game in the hands of Tom Brady, an area where he ALWAYS wins, they trusted their defense!

Unlike the Pats who let Bradshaw run in, give up the points and try to comeback. They COULD have tried to stop him, you risk leaving yourself no time but if you kept the Giants out you'd win right there. No faith in their D and rightfully so.
Risks man, you gotta take em and the G men just came out on top.

MoM beat me to it but yeah time doesn't run on a 2 pt conversion. Which is for the best, because a team would do just what you said and kill any chance of a comeback: drop Eli back 10 yards, pitch it to Bradshaw who runs circles for the final 7 secondsLOL
