I voted yes, but mainly for reasons of fairness, since NEU is already in, two member of where coming from Kraftwerk.Honestly this electronic stuff is not so much my cup of tea, like many other things of KRAUTROCK. They admittedly had quite an important impact on music, especially in the Industrial genre and in Techno music, not so much in Progressive Rock IMHO. Their later records were rather radio-friendly and pop-ish. But anyway this kind of music is too minimalistic for my ears!

The problem is: there isn't a section to include just a few albums.
Include them all!

Well, I voted 'yes' because of their early stuff. I like what I've heard of their 1970s work and have Autobahn on CD myself, which - for its time - was very progressive music (not to mention good) in my opinion.

That track brings back memories.Alan Freeman would use it as a segue on his Saturday Show whenever he could, which in hind-sight,was quite often.

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.

I was referring to Tomita regarding that statement.

I think Tomita is out of scope. Then why not also Glass , Riley and other minimalists.

Tricky call on that one. If Kraftwerk is in as Neu! , then LA Dusseldorf should also come in. Kraftwerk is also very pop and this might get some people started on Devo
|
yes you've got to be very carefull with these type of bands, the reason i drew a line at their second album.

I think Kraftwerk was FAR more experimental than Radiohead, Rhapsody or Marillion.
Kraftwerk's music was based on rock music, was experimental, electronic, hypnotic etc... I say Krautrock!
