Fail.

Not because you're wrong with your assessment of VdGG Giant Squid/Octopus and Squid 1/Squid 2/Octopus.  You're in fact factually incorrect.

Squid 1/Squid 2/Octopus was originally recorded along with some other tracks (that have since disappeared) for a double album Pawn Hearts.  Not for H to He.  They scrapped the idea of a Double Album Pawn Hearts and obviously released it as it was on vinyl.

Even Wikipedia mentions it:

"Squid 1" / "Squid 2" / "Octopus" – 15:24 (bonus track on 2005 reissue) Wink

Pity about that. Your reviews seemed pretty decent, clear and concise to me, and without the 'what can I possibly ever possibly add to all the reviews already here' thing that some reviewers use in lieu of their own thoughts.

OK, I suspect this is the first time I've been a bit of an additions prig, but I'm quite annoyed at some very well-respected (on the site) people dismissing things out of hand for no good reason in a way that has gotten newbies threatened with bans and threads closed.

I really need to stop posting at this site apart from submitting biographies for prog metal bands.
Every second goddamn f**king idiot has totally mis interpreted my original post in the "is Dream Theater power metal?" poll and is pointing the finger at me "man what the hell they aren't prog metal"
FOR CHRIST SAKE, IT WAS LUCENT THAT CLAIMED THAT WERE POWER METAL, NOT ME, f**k. How hard is that to understand?
Even in my original post, I implied quite obviously that the notion of DT being power metal was ridiculous.
