For me, it's Foxtrot, followed closely by Trespass and A Trick of The Tail respectively.

what CD mix are you talking about? The 2008 mix is amazing, but the earlier remixes are very lackluster

4.Wind and Wuthering
5.The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
6.Genesis
7.Selling England by the Pound

Back in the cassette tape days I'd take the best songs from each one (+ Spot the Pidgeon) to make 1 great post PG w/ Hackett tape.

Dance on a Volcano
Entangled
Mad Man Moon
Ripples
Match of the Day
Inside and Out
Eleventh Earl of Mar
One for the Vine
Blood on the Rooftops
Unquiet Slumbers...
...in that Quiet Earth
Afterglow

very true

I like Trick definitely more than W&W.
I don't find any weak tracks on Trick, but on W&W there are some weaker tracks, I think (though stilll good), like Your Own Special Way, Wot Gorilla and All In A Mouse's Night.
This is purely subjective of course, but it's just to say that I do understand the people who vote for ATOTT.
W&W is my least favorite Genesis albums from the 1970's (though I still think it's quite good - Genesis didn't make any bad albums in the 1970's)

It's not my no. 1 but almost.
Yes, it's much less prog, and short songs, but it's intense, great instrumental parts, even by Rutherford, soulful and poetic lyrics, excellent compositions (even when they are songs, not extended prog stuff) and a great variety of subject matter.
