Topic: Battle of the Prog Bands Finals (Over, don't vote) Posted: November 26 2010 at 07:32 |
Thanks very much to the OP for a very interesting series of votes. I have thoroughly enjoyed not only the poll itself, but also the banter and arguments. Exciting stuff

Please allow 10 more Floyd votes (and no KC's!) before it's really over. Not from me, I have voted a number of days ago.

Do we need to call in the Supreme Court to handle this voting matter?

Had to vote Crimson, but couldn't vote against PF... was so hard, but it was eventually done.

Another thumbs up for this great battle that kept us on the edge of our seats for months on end. I'll especially remember the monolithic Yes-Genesis battles. Which were futile when faced with the King of course. Pink Crimson is the best!

I totally agree with you, ITCOCK is the best debut album i've ever heard and after it went meh...
|
In time you may, like me, find that Lizards, Island, Lark's Tongues in Aspic, Starless and Bible Black, Red, In the wake of Poseidon and The Power to Believe are just as amazing as ITCOCK. BTW, Thanks Snobb!

Even if somebody doesn't like negative polls, after this "top of the progs" we could look for the worst prog band ever. I'd be curious to see at which round Yes and Genesis would go out...

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution
