So post-rock is a subgenre now, eh?

Pretty cool, I certainly approve of this change.  However, it brings about a big list of post-rock bands that need to be added on here.  Where to begin?

Well Chorus... I thought about what you said and decided that you're right.  I removed a few of the bands that probably wouldn't qualify as prog from the list.

That's why the bands I suggested are all bands I would consider prog.

I've heard all the bands on that list, and while I really like most of them, few if any have anything to do with prog. Labradford for instance, can you give me even one characteristic of prog that they have?

The same way that GYBE is.  Their songs may not change in such an extreme way, but their compositions are still quite dynamic, and also like GYBE they have an almost krautrock-esque kind of minimalism thoughtout their music.  They may not be prog in the traditional sense, but I'd venture to say that this site is looking beyond the traditional sense at this point.

Sorry, I'm a bit moody tonight.  I just don't see how it having tons of changes in the structure and noticeable similarities to krautrock is "stretching it".  Maybe prog isn't the first genre that would come to mind when listening to them, but that doesn't mean they can't fit under it.

And thanks, I've been pressing for a few of these bands (Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, A Silver Mt. Zion and Slint, mostly) to get added for quite awhile, hopefully this new subgenre will at least help speed that along.
