I think we have to few member levels... Newbie, Groupie and Senior Member.

I think we should add some more, or change them.

Here's my suggestion

 

NEWBIE: 0-100 Star

BRONZE MEMBER 100-1000 StarStar

SILVER MEMBER 1000-2000 StarStarStar

GOLD MEMBER 2000-5000 StarStarStarStar

PLATINUM MEMBER 5000-??? StarStarStarStarStar

and then of course, we have the awared ones, they should stay!

Not a bad idea. It's too quick and easy to become a senior member, you can do it in a couple of weeks.

What's the point? I'm pretty sure M@X is busy enough already without creating unnecessary "member levels", that do not help the site in any way.

It would only encourage people to post more and more, even when they don't have anything constructive to say to that particular topic.

Maybe it makes sense to just increase the threshold for the first 2 "advancements".
