NEWBIE: 0-100 BRONZE MEMBER 100-1000 SILVER MEMBER 1000-2000 GOLD MEMBER 2000-5000 PLATINUM MEMBER 5000-??? and then of course, we have the awared ones, they should stay! |

What's the point? I'm pretty sure M@X is busy enough already without
creating unnecessary "member levels", that do not help the site in any
way. It would only encourage people to post more and more, even when they don't have anything constructive to say to that particular topic. -------------

But as Jimbo says, people will post BS posts just to get their counts up
I 'd rather think on ways to reduce my embarrassingly high post count  ------------- let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

How about only counting the meaningful posts?
Most of the members would be well below the 1000 post mark

EVERYONE should start on FIVE stars, and then get them docked for bad behaviour spamming/trolling/cr*p reviews etc etc.............and earn them back for being good............ Way too much admin involved in this kind of thing! The stars just make me feel like I work in Maccie D's, oh oh oh if I flip another 500 reviews WITH pickle I get another STAR!!!! Tis fine and Dandy, the way it is surely? boy- I am having a bad day..........I shall retire to the Ranting room for the duration! |
