And I just love the rare team these days that play that style.
Glad New York.....er New Jersey! is the bastion of manly football Wink

NFC East will be tough yet again this year man

Edit: As for what I said about tough football, they DO need to be less conservative with the damn ball on offense. They should be crushing the Ravens at the moment...

Here's hoping the Cowboys finish 0-6 in the division.

They will be tough on each other, yes.  This is the most overrated divison in football.  I don't see anything special in any of these teams.

Nothing against Rivers as a player (and he is one of the top QBs no doubt and a tough dude) but...
Jeez, he seems like such a jerk! (and baby)

Chiefs played tough defense but their offense was pretty sad. Difference between this game and the Jets one was that Kansas City managed to make a few plays...

LOL I'm about to watch the Texans take the field and shock the Redskins' fans. Here's to the real team from Texas!

Good to see the Steelers defense dominate again.
Also, still wondering why all the tv guys love Joe Flacco so much.

Cowboys lose
Patriots lose

This is good, now I will have a SUPERB day if the G-men win (very possible but need to make sure they keep pressure on).

Also exciting game with the Texans going down!

Awesome game, though icing the kicker still irks me.

Exciting comeback and over 900 passing yards (just under 500 from Schaub!) Clap
Once in a while gotta love a shoot out

Indeed!
Though the Texans do have quite a potent offense.

And manning bowl about up...a win is always nice but this will be the TRUE test if the Giants defense is back in shape.
If their D plays at their best, (and of course avoids mistakes and sloppiness) they can win this game absolutely.

It was really a lucky guess, but don't tell my bookie.Wink  Houston annihilated Dallas in preseason + Washington barely beat Dallas last week = Houston barely beats Washington.

I'm pulling for the Giants also!

Ah well the Giants are my team sooLOL

Yeah like I said the Colts are so unbalanced (Addai's really good year is when they won the SB...) and from what I see the Colts offense is really not very difficult (being polite). Shows just HOW good Peyton is too keep them so good! I digress

G-men need to get the D settled first.
Then the run game but if not, Eli and the receivers can more than make do.

I haven't really scouted NY, but it's the same old story with the Colts.... weak against the run.
I hope NY has a good running game. I guess the brother against brother thing is interesting, but the Colts are division rivals of Houston so....

I watched the most ugly game I have ssen in a long time Rams at Raiders.  Must have been 6-8 personal foul calls in the game. Unhappy

The Colts also make me ill.
And yeah Im an old school guy, love attacking defense and running.

Both have been largely abandoned and increasingly so...
Just started I know...but Colts first drive Giants brought just the line and were using 5 and 6 DB's Cry
Why abandon who you are and what works? Angry

Well, the Giants f**ked this game up from literally the first play

Came out with only 1 LB and using 6 DB's??? Of course the Colts ran like crazy against that! Angry
Not only is Peyton too good for that, he'll pick anyone apart against that coverage, but they are an attacking defense!
They did alright when they went back to a 4-3 but by then down 14 points.

I wonder what on Earth these coaches think somtimes
Ah well. 1-1 to start the season.
