4 stars One of those super groups that really worked, though not perfectly. The lineup is full of musicians that one would imagine would never be seen together on stage much less in the studio, but this is pretty much the same lineup that collaborated with Stomu earlier in the year for the GO studio album. The recording here is not great but the capture of these live performances and the crowd reaction are well worth tolerating it. I find myself tuning into the drum and synthesizer parts from Michael Shrieve and Klaus Schulze most but the guitar play of Al DiMeola and a surprising Pat Thrall are stunning each time they take the fore. The delightful performances of the female background vocalists are also worthy mention.

Favorite songs: "Space Song," "Wind Spin," "Time Is Here," and, of course, "Crossing the Line."

Four stars, an engaging and enjoyable live concert listening experience.
