4 stars Combining elements of hard rock and heavy metal, infusing the mix with melodies and catchy choruses like the hair metal bands excelled at doing, and then spicing the music with some progressive elements as well as samples and loops. That is what Norwegian band P:O:B does on this release, and it results in a tasty and promising debut album.

The only thing missing here are the unforgettable killer tunes; which hopefully will appear on their next release.

Still, the 12 songs on this release are all good; and it is a solid release that should appeal to those with a soft spot for slick and sophisticated progressive metal of the kind bordering mainstream territories.
