2 stars Domboshawa is a one-man Psychedelic/Space Rock project headed by Ander Bronstrom from Stockholm Sweden. Ander plays all of the instruments on his albums, including this one released in early 2019 called 'Fyra'. The music here matches the mood of the cover, psychedelic music that moves slowly against drones and other, usually minimal effects.

This album consists of 4 tracks. The first track 'Light Seed' is over 19 minutes long and is good for a trance-inducing sound. The background is a low drone and a moderately slow beat that remains the same throughout the length of the track. There is not much in the way of change here, and that includes in dynamics for the most part. The intensity ebbs and flows a bit, but mostly remains ambient with improvised jangly guitars and effects being played against the drone backdrop. After this track, a relatively short 3 minute track called 'Underlig Omgivning'. This one just meanders along for 3 minutes with no rhythm. Good for a short mind trip.

Two 10 minute tracks follow this. Starting with 'Chibuku', the track utilizes a very long crescendo, starting off softly and building slowly over it's entire length with the guitar getting more intense as it moves along. The last track is 'Ektorps Garage' which continues in the same vein, a drone in the background and improvised effects and psychedelic music on top. There is a base in the background keeping slow time that continues through the track. Dynamics come into play but vary throughout.

This is a tough one to sit through unless you are using it for meditating, or if you love slow moving drone or psychedelic music. Not much in the way of rhythm here, so it leans more towards ambience than anything, except for the 3rd track. There is also nothing really groundbreaking here, just slow psych jams.
