Just wondering how the rating system works.

Album rating is easy to figure out, just an average of the review ratings, but how are these scaled in the charts (for want of a better name). Genesis has a higher review rating than Yes, as does pink floyd. However Yes has a higher number of submitted reviews. The rating scheme was changed after the Octavarium fiasco showed up holes in just using average review ratings.

So what does the new algorithm account for to work around this problem- is just the number of reviews? Or is it more complicated than this?
