Australian instrumental prog quintet Kettlespider have released the first of two new "Live in the studio" videos on Youtube. Drawing influence from a variety of genres, Kettlespider's sound provides a fresh take on 1970’s progressive rock, but with a modern post-metal punch. The band made their mark in 2012 with the release of their independently released debut album, "Avadante", which features in the Progarchives "Top 100 Albums of 2012" chart, and has received critical acclaim in publications such as Classic Rock's "PROG" magazine and HeavyBlogIsHeavy. The two new tracks, "Tundra" and "Evolution" were recorded live at Melbourne's Black Pearl Studios and will be made available for FREE download on http://kettlespider.bandcamp.com" rel="nofollow - Kettlespider's Bandcamp page in September.
