Unfortunately I don't really have time any more to do reviews like I used to, but I'll definitely be buying this up as I remember loving your previous album.

Just bumping this thread - if anyone is into the Jazz Rock Fusion ( with prog ) genre, and would like a free download - on the assumption that you will rate my latest release, I'd love to have you do it.  Let me know if you are interested.

Thank you!

I was listening all of your albums and it is a great music with high level of musical skills. No fuzak (Allan Holdsworth's term for bad fusion) or mediocre jazz-rock, but very nice motifs and ideas. I just wrote your profile in my language, actually I am not so good in English to write a good review for PA.

All,

I was wondering if you knew a little bit about how the PA queries work? When I search the top 100 for 2014, only about 85 show up, certainly there must be more than 85? I can totally understand not being in the top 100, it's all about how you're rated, but at least we should see 100 on the list shouldn't we? The other confusion I have, if you select Jazz Rock Fusion only, we see 6 CD's, with my latest CD Fantasizer being second, not on the list is Pat Metheny's latest, yet Pat Metheny shows up in the top 100. I'm not whining about not being in the top 100,, I get it, I just wonder if I'm interpreting or running the queries incorrectly. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dean

Minimum Number of Ratings: 1
Minimum Average Rating Value: 1
Maximum Results: 250

This should help.

Thank you for that information, but I'm curious then, on the home page there's a top 2013 query, and I've just been running that but changing the year.  Should that querey have been updated to include your specifications above?

Change the year from 2013 to 2014, Minimum Number of Ratings from 0 to 1 and Minimum Average Rating Value from 0 to 1, Filter: Maximum Results from 100 to 250 and submit. 250 albums appear with Fantasizer!  ranked #67. Averate rating value: 3.99 with 21 ratings, QWR: 3.7636.

This list uses QWR (Query Weighted Rating) to determine the ranking (see the top section of the page).

I think that the reason why Fantasizer! does not appear in your query has to do with the Minimum Number of Ratings parameter; this one defaults on the average number of ratings (an awkward feature), which is apparently greater than 21.

Edit: I tried another one: I changed only the year (2013 -> 2014) and the Minimum Average Rating Value (0 -> 1) from the default settings. Now 100 albums appeared with Fantasizer! again at #67.
