1. Annie Haslam (Renaissance) and Nick Barret (Pendragon) making a dute of Genesis' Suppers Ready.

2. Justin Timberlake covering Dream Theater's Pull me Under.

3. Jon Anderson (Yes), Peter Hammill (VDGG) and Geddy Lee (Rush) singing together O Sole Mio as the three opera singers Pavarotti, Carreras and the other guy.

4. Napalm Death covering Marillion's Kayleigh

Wouldn't you rusk to the shop if that would be put on CD??

Defintely for Timberlakes cover of DT. He's probably a better singer than LaBrie!

And I would like to see him dance on this music.
Perhaps Mick Jagger will be pised again, stating he stole those moves from him.

Another one for your list: what about Jon Anderson replacing Johnny Rotten in a new, 21st. century Sex Pistols?

Or vice versa. Imagine Lydon singing Close to the Edge.

Or what about the singer of The Mars Volta (forgot his name) signing The Great Gig in the Sky from Pink Floyd.

People will get very different thought from that song.

Yeah, perhaps followed by Petrucci and Myung. Rudess and Portnoy pissed off, since they cannot leave their instruments and are missing all of the fun.

Napalm Death covering Kayleigh will not be bad. I would think a nice song of about 40 seconds.

Does happen. Vanilla Fudge recently took some N'sync crap song, fudged it up, as is there want, and turned it into a belting track.

I like the idea of Hammill, Anderson and Lee as the three tenors (the third beside Luciano Pavarotti and José Carreras is Placido Domingo, by the way)

DT doing a cover album of Songs from the Woods would be hilarious

Why exactly Learning to live? The song is great, but Keyleigh is nice and cheesy! I would imagine him singing Hollow years or Through her eye's.... That would rule... Ow and btw, anyone heard Norther's " The Final Countdown" cover?

I think Burzum could do a nice cover of Colorblind by Chroma Key! Hahah they are the almost the exact same concept, except, instead of a drummer, he just has a drum machine!

Well, people, you have made it quite clear.
I will go starting putting energy to organise the "Night of the Progressive Proms" ( I hope that concept is known across the world).

If the date is set you will all be invited at the first row.
