| Weirdly as much as I'm a fan of IQ , Dark Matter is one of theirs that I struggle to warm to. Frequency and The Seventh House are more my cup of tea. I like Neo Prog to be powerful. As for Pallas I would take Dreams Of Men and Marillion almost a dozen albums of theirs over the poll selection. |

Don't like what I've heard of post Fish Marillion, and I've not heard AOS so won't vote.
The IQ album is pretty good, not their best. I prefer Ever and Seventh House. The Sentinal has some good moments and the gatefold sleeve is nice, but much of the music it is just cheese soaked nonsense. Ewan Lowson had a good voice though. Preferred it to Alan Reeds tbh. ------------- Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy! |

I've not heard the Marillion one, but I love DarK Matter and The Sentinel is just Jim Garten's favourite album. |

The material on The Sentinel is strong but the production is so poor I find it almost unlistenable. Sacred Sound is an incredible track but the rest of Dark Matter I find fairly average by IQ's standards. So by default it's AOS which is one of Marillion's best albums. |

Sacred Sound, You Never Will and Harvest of Souls are all quite amazing; Red Dust Shadow and Born Brilliant are good but not quite in the same class.
