Having my annual Motorpsycho marathon, as preparation for their annual release concert , and I'm curious to know what's your favourite album from this very eclectic band?
And please do explain why.
My favourite's Phanerothyme. It was the first MP album I heard, and it was love at, if not first hearing, at least second.
Next on my favourites list are: Heavy Metal Fruit, + Jaga Jazzist: In The Fishtank 10, The Death Defying Unicorn, Still Life With Eggplant and Little Lucid Moments.
What does your favourites list look like?

I only have 3 of them so far -- Little Lucid Moments, Heavy Metal Fruit, and Death Defying Unicorn. I like all three, but I think I might like HMF the most out of the three, with Lucid just behind. Unicorn's horn charts can get on my nerves but it's also a very impressive album.
Of the rest, I've done some very brief sampling of Phanerothyme and Demon Box, just enough to get a taste, but I need to revisit them at some point.

I've only heard two. No way I'm going to get to all of these.

I've only heard 3 of them....all online, but I really liked the stuff on Heavy Metal Fruit.

Such a massive discography and I've barely scratched the surface. I can't even begin to pretend that I know enough to vote.

Haha, I'm not allowed to vote, for some reason.
If I could, I'd vote for Timothy's Monster. That album is really special to me. I also really like Trust Us and Phanerothyme, even though they're extremely different from one another. And the new one is amazingly killer. Best one of the Kapstad-era, IMO.

I have a few albums: Phanerothyme, Child Of The Future, Heavy Metal Fruit, The Death Defying Unicorn, Still Life With Eggplant and Behind The Sun, I also listened to Timothy's Monster a few times. It's hard to choose, Heavy Metal Fruit is my first album by the band so it will always be kind of special plus it's really good! Phanerothyme is special in its own right, not heavy like the rest and very easy to get into. The Death Defying Unicorn is so ambitious and creative, definitely a peak in their discography.
I feel like voting for Phanerothyme, maybe because it's a little different and just makes me feel so good. Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gyv41qKESnE" rel="nofollow - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gyv41qKESnE

Child Of The Future | How's that one? Along with the debut, which is out of print, it's the only ones of their studio albums I haven't got. I've got nothing to play it on.

Puts a smile on my face every time I hear it, or just think about it.

Probably my least favourite of the Kapstad-era. Nothing more than an ordinary MP album, IMO. Which doesn't mean I think it's not any good though, as I think they're incapable of producing a bad album. I even enjoy their country albums.
Perhaps I'll enjoy it more when I've heard the songs live. Seeing them this evening.

No, I only like a few bands from there, that's all...Motorpsycho....and Prudence.....and Gåte.....Dumdum Boys...Ok, I'm starting to see why you would think so.

Sorry, haven't listened to them.
What's you favourite MP album again, BTW, Chris? Is it Angels and Daemons, or am I way off?
