Hey again Tongue another poll about 2 albums: "Shine On Brightly" and "The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown" (pictures of albums below). Both are favourites of mine, and are very similar. Both are psychedelic-influenced albums from 1968 with a theme running through them, and both rated around 4.05. Simply enter which is your favourite and comment why if you like Smile

Mine is Procol's "Shine On Brightly", by quite a way (although I love the other). Very consistent, great blends of blues, baroque, and a very progressive flavour, and how could you forgot "In Held 'Twas In I"! (listen to it if you haven't before Smile) Definitely in my top 5 albums of all-time (possibly 3rd) - Procol's magnum opus! Big smile

As always, thanks for any feedback!!

Never been a fan of Procol Harum, on the other hand I'm pretty crazy about Arthur Brown.

The Arthur Brown debut, hands down. I like that Procol Harum album a lot, but it is no match for my undying love of Mr Brown's fiery take on psychedelic rock and a kind of pop music I've never heard the likes of since.

Although the single "Fire" is one of the great songs of the 60s, I will have to go with the album Shine on Brightly as a whole.

I'm a fan of both albums.  That Procol album is an all-time favorite though (gave it a 5 star review here), so I'm voting for that.

Procol Harum are part of my early years.

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

I have to say I'm in the same boat here. I recently bought a pristine original LP of 'Home' for next to nothing, my 3rd try with a Procol album in 20 years (thereabouts) , and I am still underwhelmed. Crazy World on the other hand......

I like both, but I'll vote for The Crazy World of Arthur Brown.
