New albums from the old boys. Tempting to have the love them all, hate them all type choices. Maybe another time; not today. Vote or veto, it's your choice.

I 've heard only the Deep Purple's one

Well Celebration Day is new but doesn't have any new songs of course so you can't really compare, but the one I'm pleased the most with is Deep Purple, surprisingly very good album. The Zeppelin concert is very very good and Sabbath is enjoyable and always fun to listen to the ol' gand, but I did expected something better.

It is possible to make polls in the prog related section

^Is it though? I think I tried once and just ended up making one in GMD. I totally see your point; there has been too many proto/related/GMD stuff in the prog polls section lately.

I've never had a problem with it. The PR and PP section has a poll function just like the prog section has.

It's the ghost in the machine we've feared for all these years. We're all doomed.
Seriously: I have no idea why it is that some can see this feature and others can't.

As for topic question, I vote for Black Sabbath. Excellent LP.
Purple's 'Now What?' is very much overrated, I believe, it's no stronger than 'Purpendicular' and virtually on the same level with previous DP albums.

I just checked right now and...nope. Just 'new topic'.
Sorry to derail this poll, we are just trying to find it a good home.

Oh dear. A calamity has ensued. I merely thought a poll among a few tolerably known bands would be fun.
I clicked on polls and started a poll.
Wrong, wrong, wrong wrong, wrong.
Never do that.
Sooooo... I find out a sub-sub-genre oriented poll section where people will see it... or not?
I think I shall give this up.
Hey. result.
P.S. I know led Zeppelin have not released new material. That is not the point. We take what we can get. These are highly regarded releases from tolerably known rock groups fom pre 21C. How highly regarded this fun intentioned poll may have indicated something, comments that cause pause for thought.
Mea culpa.
Ciao

Deep Purple, Now What was a great come back album, I say much better than BS's last album. Expected UH and Rush in the poll.

Went with Zep..........haven't bought a Purple lp in ages ,and Sabbath's new one (my daughter bought it for me...) didn't do anything for me.

I don't even understand why Led Zeppelin Celebration Day is here, but anyway. I liked both 13 and Now What?! and I'll vote for Black Sabbath 13.

Led Zeppelin!! 13 was pretty below par for the metal giants, and I haven't heard Now What

Celebration Day is here as a contemporary release along with its contemporary bands.

But it's a live album with old songs, while the others aren't.

I know. What can I say? Jimmy get in the studio? Robert will cooperate. So we work with what we have.
Nevertheless it is an album of music made roughly at the same time as the others...
Don't see the problem. It's music, not a bureaucracy. Oops, this is prog archives. Forgot for a moment.
Go ahead, veto away.
