He was a very active member in the early days of the site. If you do a search of all the posts with the search query "swilson" you'll get all sorts of interesting posts. He got into a tussle with the admins and Max over whether or not albums should be reviewed by multiple reviewers (the very essence of the site) and he asked for his account to be deleted. I don't know the whole story, early admins like Bob, Tony, Peter, or Ian could add more perspective, but he was PA's "celebrity member" even before he was really loved by prog nuts. I believe he had a few posts about the writing process for Fear of a Blank Planet, and how his "new album" would feature a long track (Anesthetize) - this thrilled many people.

I found a post I made with a small collection of his contributions - sadly because his posts are now credited to "Guest," we can only easily find posts that he edited. I'm guessing he at least made a few hundred before jumping ship

It's a crying shame he had issues with how the site was run and some of its members - I would have absolutely loved to talk with him on the forum about prog, music, his life, and other things. He's a really interesting guy, from what I can gather.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

I agree it is too bad he left but would think at this stage he is too busy to bother with this site........
