Why not make a "not-prog-but-still-worth-hearing-bands" corner? You could put there such prog bands as Angra, Borknagar, Queen, Nightwish, Rhapsody, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden etc. and stop this nonsence calli9ng these bands prog.
BTW: If Borknagar is prog then Emperor also (on the last two albums), Mayhem (GDOW), Death (it`s a shame no one continiued their style) or even Slipknot on their last album! If we don`t stop it soon even Napalm Death and Manowar will be on ProgArchives!

Hope not.

I thought "Why not?" indicated a rewiew of the bluesy song of
Gentle Giant.

Napalm Death not Prog?????

Ok, but serious, it is an idea, but not on this website.
Why don't you get the domain http://www.non-progarchives.com - www.non-progarchives.com or http://www.almost-progarchives.com - www.almost-progarchives.com and build a nice website.

Or just let it be. Prog is grey. Some bands have made one or two progressive songs, some bands have made many more progressive songs, but no band have made 100% progressive songs. It will be always a discussion of what is the boundary of prog.

Stop the nonsense yourself! First you call them Prog, then you say their not!

The first time I heard Napalm Death was great. It started with a single, relaxed guitar and suddenly a bucket of filth came out of the singers throat, filling my room and shaking the house. It was a good laugh.

This is utter stupidity.
