Ef is such a great post rock band, and that album is superb. Though, they've never really had a bad one IMO.

Nice idea indeed.

Much as I like "Elephant Talk", the Crac ! track by Area called "L'elefante bianco" beats it by a long shot for me, but then I am a Crac!head as I said.

I love it, but It's not a recommendation as such.  I just couldn'r resist the elephantine parallelism, what with you mentioning Elephant Talk and L'elefante being the first track off the first album listed in the poll (and of course Crac ! being my choice).  It's on youtube too, as is the whole Crac ! album (the album does work better as a whole).

L'elefante Bianco http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTn5oV-QQq" rel="nofollow - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTn5oV-QQq

Full album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oocPI56cXzQ" rel="nofollow - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oocPI56cXzQ

It actually is one of those albums that I wish all proggers knew, although I could see some having problems with vocals (I grew to really the vocals).  The more avant-oriented Caution Radiation Area is what turned me onto Area originally.
