PFM has released a double CD or triple Vinyl with musics from Beethoven, Mozart, Verdi,Rossini, Saint Saens, Prokofiev, Rossini, Dvorak, Mendelssohn, Rimskij Korsakov, Mahler.

I don't have the track list so I can't add the album but it sounds interesting, also after reading some comments from the Italian press.

I usually don't like when progers do that. I hope my beloved PFM managed to pull off something as good as their Stati Di...album

First partial listen. It's a PFM album. Not just a revisitation of classical themes or "variations".  I usually dislike operations of this kind, like i.e. Ca Ira which is able to disappoint fans of Waters and of Opera. This PFM album is absolutely not disappointing, but it's just my first listen, I haven't listened to the whole album yet and it's just my first impression.

I've listened to it. It's well-performed, but ultimately uninspired, I think.

Hi,

I'm thinking that they have played at least one third of these in the midst of their stuff in concert. They kinda made fun of it, but in some ways, it was an appreciation more than anything else, and that was a great thing.
