July 20, 2013 ... a bit hot and wet but no problem. We were so glad http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=4699" rel="nofollow - DJAMRA had announced they would play a new song tonight. Already heard they'd almost completed some of their new creations, and we got amazed at meeting one of them, wow!

They'd raced their sound engine fully from the beginning, as well. The first number was one of their newer stuffs "Kihihi (Yellow Baboon)", a brief suite about a yellow baboon chasing a flock of flamingos ... tough for us to follow such a swift development of a suite actually.

Of course tonight's high light was a new song "Kaitoh Naitoh-san (A Phantom Thief Mr. Naitoh in English), that was played on stage for the first time, was a nervous one. According to what they say, this song was created for a TV detective drama in the midnight (that would be broadcasted in near future lol).

From the beginning funky, junky, speedy but poppy flavour was launched in succession, whilst Sayaka's deep trumpet shots and Shinji's cool saxophone breeze were pretty comfortable. In the latter part the five gems all played more and more thrillingly. Guess they played for the first time really so their tension got fired and turbulent (in a fine sense of course).

Could not help getting excited with their enthusiastic atmosphere ... and made sure that this song would be one of their (funny) masterpieces indeed. Very tough work I guess but everyone played with superb taste, let me say bravo for all Djamrers!

Oh anyway, Masaharu's MC / talk was much more "freakout" than usual.
