All of them are awesome, but the classic era is my favourite. ------------- I am currently digging: Hawkwind, Rare Bird, Gong, Tangerine Dream, Khan, Iron Butterfly, and all things canterbury and hard-psych. I also love jazz! Please drop me a message with album suggestions. |

Why? The early Syd Barrett years have little in common with Meddle and DSOTM, while DSOTM and Animals have little in common with the solo years of Radio KAOS and A Momentary Lapse of Reason.

Classic Floyd. Something tells me the name alone of that category makes it pretty self explanatory of which 'half' has true greatness. More consistency was in the 2nd for sure. It's a classic! ------------- Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣 |

However, I might be tempted to go with the last one, because it has some spectacular albums too, plus, since it's including the live albums, it actually includes most of the best songs from the middle period too.
