Can't really beat Peter Sellers imo, even if I might've picked Marlon from the same year portraying the philosophical black hole that is colonel Kurtz.
A lot of other fine picks here, but I find that Sellers tends to be remembered only for his humouristic qualities doing inspector Clouseau, when he in fact was a genuine chameleon who could play anything - and damnright brilliant to boot. So yep one for good ol Sellers!

I see Paul Giamatti on the list and what a truly wonderful and incredibly overlooked actor he is. I absolutely love him in Cinderella Man. One of the best boxing movies made imo,and he was definitely part of that.
