Mike Portnoy has said that he has his fingers crossed that Transatlantic will be able to get together and make an album this year. Whether that will actually happen is a mystery, but I am guessing that it probably will.
My list:
Dream Theater
Stratovarius
Steven Wilson

Transatlantic (if the album happens)

Hi Andy
Good questions, in terms of PT, all I know is that Steven Wilson and band will be released on 25th February a new album called The Raven that Refused to sing, as far as I know it's a solo album thus not PT tho'. however from what I I have heard so far (tracks) it's a bit very good

Quite right: the Steven Wilson's current "traveling band" has nothing to do with PT. I also doubt Wilson really wants to go back to the 2000s' PT, either musically or organizationally. He might have to, though, to raise some money, because I don't think the likes of Storm Corrosion and GFD could sell in more than 20,000 legal copies.
Yes, the Raven's teaser does suggest that the album is going to be great (that's what the teasers are supposed to do), and Luminol that they "borrowed" from the GAYD is truly excellent. But, I am concerned about Wilson's proclivity for taking sometimes 20-30 minutes of brilliant music and diluting it with equal amount of soundtrack drivel and calling it an album.

I know that this is meant to be albums but as of this mornings announcement a week in September in France for a possible Soleil Zeuhl and the confirmed RIO festival is now top of my anticipated list.
Line up for the week:-
RIO - Univers Zero, Aranis, Present, Cheer-Accident, Panzerpappa, Guapo SZ - Setna, Unit Wail, Neom, Scherzoo
If that actually all happens I'll be in heaven for a week.

In the realm of the prog-pop, Everything Everything have a new one coming out very soon, should be interesting to see where they go. In the Mars Volta family, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez's new group Bosnian Rainbows has their debut of pop-psych stuff coming in the first half of the year, and singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala should have his first acoustic solo album out.

echolyn have mentionned that they are back in the studio. Hopefully, it will come out this year.
Already? Wow!
Fantastic news! Can't wait to hear it. That's another one to add to my list as well as Bader Nana who is putting out a new CD in May and he said he was offering it for free via bandcamp. Also looking forward to the new one by Long Distance Calling coming out on the 5th of March.
