This is just like rate the avatar/sig above you, except you do it with just one song at a time. Try to give one sentence at least to explain your rating. Then post a song yourself.

I encourage you guys to focus on any music that you actually make. Even if its a poop recording on an iPhone, or if there's some video of your band playing a cover at a bar. This not only to have fun, but to help us get to know each other more!

If you don't play music yourself, or if you don't feel like sharing your own music, post any song ever! Or do whatever you want really. Just post a rating, sentence, and another song!!! :D

Also, if someone gives you a bad rating for your music, don't take it to heart. We all wanna help each other get better! And maybe if you wanna argue, send PMs because I can see this thread getting filled up with "Muse doesn't deserve a 5-star for "Plug-in Baby!" Let's keep it simple. If you wanna argue someone else's post VERY BADLY on the forums, do a rating, sentence, another song, and THEN post your arguments below about whatever. Thanks guys! Hopefully this can be fun!

I'm gonna start by posting someone else's music, so you know I'm not just trying to promote myself. :D

This is an unheard of band that only recorded 2 songs and broke up. AMAZING band. Everyone is only 17 at this point.

3 stars. Very good considering the age of the members. And its a little bit edgier than the typical post-hardcore schtick. My problem lies in the "insecure teenager" quality in the singer's voice. This would include the wacky Kazuki Tomokawa-esque vibrato, but that is not the sole element. He seems slightly insecure about his singing and his tone changes without intention. It's also a bit unfocused and the ideas don't interact in any way shape or form.

This one is by singer-songwriter Ben Howard, who is usually very poppy, but recently turned out this masterpiece. Sorry, my computer has problems with embedding, so I have to post the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYUKsRL-YBM
