I think that there's no need for collaborators in all the real prog sub genres. We have a lot of them. And there's no real need for Proto-Prog collaborators since the mouvement is already finished. But I think (in my opinion) we need Prog Related collaborators, since I think there a lot of prog-related bands to add. When I look at the list of the artists, it's not so big.
If you don't think it's right to add some, it's OK. It's a thread.

Admin handles PR,  and I assume you mean no need for any new collaborators in the subgenres

I recently saw the progressive electronic and Krautrock subgenres and there are not a lot of collaborators. I can listen to one album per day for both of these genres for 100 days and I can be a collaborator. DEAL. And if you DON'T want me to be a collaborator, that's okay too.

And it should stay that way.

I think we have enough collaborators. And I wouldn't worry so much about the size of the list of prog-related artists and bands, but the absence of some in the list should be considered.

The number of artists listed in Prog Related is as big as it needs to be - there are probably 1000s of bands and artists that someone somewhere thinks are related to Prog but we do not need to list all of them, this is a Progressive Rock site not a Everything Rock site.

If you think some artists are missing then go to Rate Your Music and review them there, they are much more inclusive at Prog Related than we want to be.

If you feel you could help one of the teams, then do please approach them directly and offer your services. It is often difficult to know who might be interested in joining a specific team.

Re Prog Related (and Proto prog). They are not really genres as such in that the styles of music they encompass can cover the entire cross spectrum of not just prog but music in general.

1) Being on the Post Rock Team in its current state, I strongly disagree with those who think there are too many Collaborators or we don't need anymore. The Prog Metal and ZART teams may have lots of Collabs but when you have a team where only two of the four members are active, things are different. Literally no new suggestions will get added because they lack a third 'yes' vote.

2) The last thing PA needs is more Prog-Related additions.
