Did anyone else see the banner with the moving shapes on the home page? What was that? No words, just moving shapes (with trails behind them usually). I couldn't stop looking at it; it's gone now though.

I saw it... couldn't be arsed to click on it to find out what it was in case it turned out to be something horrendous like a Coldplay ablum or something.

Saw it too, but I never click on those things, unless I'm sure it's porn. This one was rather beautiful and hypnotising though.

I sometimes click on them when it's for bands (that's how I discovered Long Distance Calling), but since there was a ridiculous ad with some offensively dressed female that just hurt my eyes, I've been using ad block.

I know what you mean, although I find it hard to get offended by images of gore and sexy females. I still have my copy of Cannibal Corpse Butchered at Birth, plus I am occasionally reminded of how women look without their clothes. The problem is when you are surfing the site from work - or if you have got a toddler climbing around on you.

Same here, but this banner was on the top of every page for at least three weeks. No number of refreshs sent it away, and after so long of looking at scantily covered flesh-colored blueberries protruding from some random woman's chest, it was revolting.

I just clicked on it, and it takes you to Car Bomb's bandcamp page. Some kind of metal with gurgling vocals.

Oh, don't say that - someone will recommend them to the Prog Metal team for inclusion

I am not turning off my ad block just to see porn. That's what xtube is for.

I assume the winky is a sign of sarcasm because Car Bomb is on PA.
