| I'd like to get that Alamaailman Vasarat before too long (the Aranis might be the next one I get). I won't vote as, unfortunately, the only one of these I have, and perhaps the only album I have from 2012, is Magma's Felicite Thosz. I liked it muchly and spun it many times, but I haven't felt like listening to it for quite some time. It's a bit lacking, I find. |

I voted for Allah's Mail man! (Nice one Darryl ) Since we share a lot of the same musical tastes, I'd like to recommend you Motorpsycho's Unicorn album as well as the new Elephant9 release. Well that's the thing, of course you can hear it's the same band, but on here the music is interwoven with a huge bombastic jazz orchestra led on by Elephant9 and Supersilent's Ståle Storlykke. It's great big pompous music, but without all the saccharine aspirations. We're talking barking reeds and strangely alluring angular sound motifs within Motorpsycho's more palatable take on melodic prog rock. New TMV was/ is fantastic. One of my favourites from this year. Samuel Jackson Five is a great little band - much love for them. -------------

Noctourniquet is amazing. So is SJ5 and Perhaps. Though TMV really rose to the occasion with this release IMO. So I voted for it. ------------- Crushed like a rose in the riverflow. |
