Of this list, the Hammers.

My favorite thus far is probably Corima.

I'd like to get that Alamaailman Vasarat before too long (the Aranis might be the next one I get).  I won't vote as, unfortunately, the only one of these I have, and perhaps the only album  I have from 2012, is Magma's Felicite Thosz.  I liked it muchly and spun it many times, but I  haven't felt like listening to it for quite some time.  It's a bit lacking, I find.

Voted for Noctourniquet which is my favorite TMV album and their best IMO.

I voted for Allah's Mail man! (Nice one DarrylLOL

Since we share a lot of the same musical tastes, I'd like to recommend you Motorpsycho's Unicorn album as well as the new Elephant9 release. Should be right up your alleyThumbs Up Both from 2012 too.

^I heard the last Motorpsycho and thought it was okay, does the new one sound different?

Here's some samples from the list, if anyone is not familiar with all/any of the choices...

Well that's the thing, of course you can hear it's the same band, but on here the music is interwoven with a huge bombastic jazz orchestra led on by Elephant9 and Supersilent's Ståle Storlykke. It's great big pompous music, but without all the saccharine aspirations. We're talking barking reeds and strangely alluring angular sound motifs within Motorpsycho's more palatable take on melodic prog rock. I think it's one smoking album!

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

I'll have to check it out. I know they did an album with Jaga Jazzist and I like them.

Alamaailman Vasarat. Valta is very likely to be one of my 2012 top 10 albums at the end of the year.

Noctourniquet is amazing. So is SJ5 and Perhaps. Though TMV really rose to the occasion with this release IMO. So I voted for it.

Only one. I don't listen to much new music. There is still so much greatness from the seventies I haven't heard.
