Pearl Jam, if only for Ten. Vedder is my favourite vocalist out of the three, and the music hits me the most. Soundgarden is probably the most adventurous musically speaking, while Nirvana were a great rock band that I never listened too much but I respect.

None, as Alice In Chains and early Stone Temple Pilots aren't mentioned on here. Soundgarden is my #1 band, period. After that: 2. Alice In Chains 3. Nirvana 4. Pearl Jam, probably. I used to be really big into Nirvana - almost a Kurt worshiper. I still really enjoy them from time to time.

Soungarden is more proto grunge then anything, same for Melvins, and Mudhoney and Green River and Malfunkshun, U-man the first grunge album also probably the first album in sludge metal, and proto post metal, stoner/doom metal,
