WTF is Soulseek?

At the risk of sounding like Cro-magnon waking up and coming out of his cave.....

keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer

I never got it to work in the first place, never bothered much for that stuff anyway, most bands give a fair deal of mp3's through their website, mostly it's enough to acquire the taste.

But if you're looking for complete album downloads, try friends and relatives first, easier :)

I use slsk quite alot (and I am honestly quite ashamed of it). Same Nick as here & everywhere...

Re Sean Trane: Soulseek is a p2p software that has as its users a rather large community of prog rock / art rock enthusiasts

Re Tony R: Are you running Windows XP with Service Pack 2? If you are, check http://faq.slsknet.org/index.php?sid=321573&lang=fr&action=artikel&cat=266085&id=576&artlang=en - this out. It is basically impossible to use slsk with service pack 2 automatically updating itself.

Cheers

I used to use WinMX, but ever since I installed a router, it won’t work on my computer anymore.

Since KaZaA is worthless, I’ve been using Soulseek ever since. I make it a point to only trade stuff that’s not legitimately available on CD.
